Before joining the Law office of JD. Ngando, Robert Porter worked as a litigation attorney in northern Virginia and Washington, D.C., and clerked for Judge Larry Elder on the Court of Appeals of Virginia.
 
Mr. Porter received a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School and a B.A. from the College of William and Mary.  He is barred in Virginia, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Virginia and the District of Columbia.
 
Mr. Porter's practice focuses on civil litigation and family law.
