Miriam Eqab obtained her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from George Mason University
School of Law in 2007. She is originally from the Northern Virginia area
and has lived and worked in Alexandria, Springfield, and Woodbridge. She
has several years of work experience acquired through various employment as
a law clerk and intern. She interned for the Board of Immigration Appeals
in the spring of 2006. During the summer of 2006, she worked as a law clerk
at a small immigration firm in Washington, DC and interned for the
Department of Commerce in the International Trade Administration. For one
year she worked as a law clerk in a small law firm specializing in
litigation and international clients.She is semi-fluent in Arabic, with the ability to speak, read and write comfortably.
Ms. Eqab passed the July 2007 New York Bar Exam and will be sworn in on May
28. She works for the firm as a law clerk.
